Elizabeth Marie
Lizzie has made it! She is the first of the Brent Koch girls to get a mission call! On January 18th Lizzie opened her call to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Houston, Texas Spanish speaking Mission. She will be going to the MTC on June 5th.
Lizzie is a hero to me. She is smart, bright, gorgeous, big-hearted, and Christ-like. There is a reason she is the one going on the mission. I have been lucky enough to have Lizzie in Provo with me. I feel like I am the luckiest Koch Girl because I have lived in one of favorite places on earth with each of my sisters. Lizzie has brought a whole new light into my life since she has been here. Her sisterhood feeds my soul. I love her.
We were so blessed to have every member of our family in California for her to go to the temple the day after she opened her mission call. That weekend will stay with me forever as one of love, eternal families, joy, and giggles. I am so proud to be a Koch Girl. I wear that honor proudly.

Test post from my new Blogger app!
Hello all! I have been having a difficult time blogging (BIG surprise) over the last, oh, 5 months... Mostly because I don't really have a computer. Well, Andrew has one and he is so great to share. Only I feel guilty making him give up his uber important studies so I can grace the cyber world with my oh-so-inspiring blog posts.
Well sister Amanda came to the rescue and told me about the Blogger app! So this is me trying it out- what do you think? It could just be the same... or not.... We won't know till I hit "publish" !! But before that- a picture.
This is me and this guy as of late

As of late...
I'm pretty sure I no longer have followers on this sad blog of mine. Not a big deal... just because I can't promise anything exciting, inspiring, or consistent :) But if you are out there reading... thank you!
I have had a "hit the fan" moment and decided that I can no longer go without documenting my life. Somehow, somewhere, sometime, someone is going to regret it. (me). So I give you a post...
Memorial Day weekend is the same EVERY year for the Koch family. We, meaning all 81 members of the Robert and Beth Koch family, invade ClearCreek Family Ranch year after year and enjoy a weekend of games, hiking, eating, and great conversation. But the best part of the reunion is the fact that each year holds something new and exciting. This year it was the WIND. We could barely eat our lunches and hike through Zions National Park, and instead of finishing off the day with ice cream, we enjoyed BLAZING hot chocolate.
Here are some of the memories from Koch Family Reunion 2012.
To be perfectly honest... I love this trip. I look forward to it every year and I am so proud to be a part of such a marvelous, fun-loving, and spiritual family. LOVE YOU KOCHES!

The Great Salt Lake in the Winter
Doesn't get more beautiful than this, huh?

This is my sister's photograph. She took it from out the window of an airplane and I thought it was beautiful. Check out her website... www.ellislanephotography.com

Harry
Andrew and I joined amanda and some of her friends for the midnight showing of Harry Potter 7! Unfortunately, midnight showings in provo are much colder than laguna niguel.
We are desperately missing kati and lizzie. The four of us have seen every midnight showing of harry potter together! But we are thinking of our book ends tonight as we wait....patiently... for our awkward hero to take center stage. We'll have to let you know how it is. Love you kater and bop.
